Traffic has re-opened following a serious collision just outside West Kelowna.
Around 8:30 AM on Thursday, police were alerted to the crash on the westbound on-ramp of Highway 97C where a cyclist had collided with a commercial transport truck.
The cyclist, a 40-year-old woman, was rushed to hospital and remains in critical condition.
"The driver of the semi-truck remained at the scene of this crash and is co-operating with the investigation." said Corporal Mike Halskov.
The ramp was closed for several hours Thursday morning while investigators worked to try and determine the cause of the collision.

The westbound lanes of the Connector - just outside West Kelowna - have been closed as emergency crews tend to a crash.
Kelowna RCMP Corporal Jesse O'Donaghey says there were serious injuries - and the highway was shutdown to allow first responders to work - and police to investigate.
There are no reports on what caused the crashed - or how many victims may be involved.
There's also no indication about when the highway will reopen.
Drivers are cautioned to monitor Drive BC and consider planning an alternate route.
