Volunteers are needed for a couple of major fund-raising campaigns in Kelowna.
The Royal Canadian Legion says it's looking for at least 300 more volunteers for its annual poppy drive that begins this Friday. It'll wrap up on November 10th - the day before Remembrance Day.
The Legion says they raised over $200-thousand dollars in 2016.
And the Central Okanagan Salvation Army needs volunteers for its upcoming Kettle Campaign.
Last year, the organization provided food and gifts to over 600 families and 1,100 children.
The annual Kettle Campaign begins November 16th at locations across Kelowna and West Kelowna.
