A Kelowna man convicted of secretly filming people will be sentenced next month.
40-year-old Todd Peters was arrested in January of 2017 after it was discovered that he had planted spy cameras inside a private residence to film five people while they were naked.
This past February, Peters took a plea deal to reduce his five charges of voyeurism to two.
During Peters’ initial sentencing date last month, defence counsel Wade Jenson asked for the sentencing to be adjourned so that he could present further documents to the court.
The new sentencing date was tentatively scheduled for May, but has now been pushed back to Tuesday, June 26th.
Crown counsel is currently seeking a house arrest sentence of 14-18 months for Peters, followed by 2-years of probation.
The identities of the five victims are protected under a publication ban.
