A 34-year-old man from West Kelowna wanted on several outstanding warrants was taken into police custody on Thursday morning.
At around 8am, employees of a business on the 1500 block of Stevens Road were concerned that a man outside in a vehicle was about to rob them, since the he had been in the same place overnight.
It turned out that the man was a customer of the business the day prior, and had simply fallen asleep in the vehicle.
RCMP responded to the call regardless, and found that the man was in fact wanted on 13 outstanding warrants, including failing to appear before the court and possession of a controlled substance.
