As flooding begins to ease somewhat in the Central Okanagan - there are renewed fears that rain and warm temperatures, later his week, may cause rivers and creeks to overflow again.
Environment Canada's Doug Lundquist says by Wednesday, the temperature could reach the mid to high 20's - then there's the chance of more rain..
"We're looking at Thursday into Friday when there's another chance of a decent rain event. It's a similar set-up to last time, but the big difference is that the lowest elevation snow, that was still hanging around, has been pretty much cleared out by the last warm temperatures and rain event," he says.
Lundquist says the prediction is for a total of 30-millimetres of rain this week, which could affect streams and rivers fed by the higher elevation snowpack like Mission Creek.
