Next week is expected to be slightly warmer than normal in Kelowna.
"Normal for this time of year is about 13 degrees in the Okanagan," says Environment Canada meteorologist Bobby Sekhon. "On Monday we have a high of 15 degrees, and 16 on Wednesday, so it's looking like a nice, warm, and sunny week ahead."
Sekhon says this is due to a ridge of high pressure that will be building over Kelowna after Friday. He notes that there's no exact timeline for when highs will dip down below 10 degrees.
There's also a chance of some overnight frost and morning fog throughout next week.
This weekend is looking fairly sunny, with the high being 14 degrees on Saturday, with an overnight low of zero degrees.
