A gauntlet has been thrown in the local race for the federal Conservative party nomination in Kelowna-Lake Country.
Renee Wasylyk has invited challenger Tracy Gray to a 'Q-and-A' event at the Ramada Hotel on March 29th - it's basically for local party members, but the public's also welcome.
Each candidate would make an opening statement, then answer two questions they've submitted before taking questions from the audience.
Wasylyk says Tracy Gray has received the invite - but has not yet accepted.
On April 6th - local Conservative party members will choose either Wasylyk or Gray to go up against Liberal MP Stephen Fuhr in this October's federal election.
