In consultation with Interior Health, the City of West Kelowna has rescinded a Water Quality Advisory for Rose Valley Properties.
The advisory had been required since Tuesday, September 3 because of higher than normal turbidity, which was the result of a water line break at a construction site.
Repairs, flushing, monitoring and testing are completed and quality is back to normal. The City thanks Rose Valley residents for their patience and understanding.
The City of West Kelowna reports that no water quality advisories are currently in effect in any of its systems. Public access to the bulk water station on Shannon Lake Road is now closed. Those wishing to draw water from the station for a fee can apply and obtain a PIN through the City of West Kelowna’s Utility Billing Department at ub.finance@westkelownacity.ca.
