The BC Hockey League's West Kelowna Warriors are mourning the loss of 15 members of the Humboldt Broncos.
The team will be holding a candlelight vigil, Thursday night, in the courtyard at Royal LePage Place to show their respects.
Warriors Head Coach Rylan Ferster says it's a time to heal.
"I think it's going to be really special for people to get together and just be together and share stories or just chat. You can see what's happened in the last 48 hours and how it's affected the whole country".
The 49 year-old Ferster had a cup of coffee with the Humboldt Broncos when he was 16 before returning to midget hockey.
"I know the community well growing up in Prince Albert. It is so sad. I just find find myself basically sobing and crying for no reason. I will be driving and all of sudden...it is not like I have been grieving and it just stops. It seems to start and stop with me".
Ferster played two full seasons in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League with the Nipawin Hawks, the team the Humboldt Broncos were facing in their playoff series when the bus crash occurred.
