Great looking Friday for Kelowna with a high of 8, but the chance of showers theme will return tonight and appears to last well into next week.
Lisa West, meteorologist from Environment Canada says the weather systems coming from the Pacific ocean, that are destined for the southern interior, all seem to come with at least a chance that rain will make it to the valley floor. West says, "We ARE about the long range model so things could change but with this type of pattern the southern interior is more susceptible to getting preciptitaion that hits the valley floor, and in this case, we could see some moderate amounts throughout the work week, next week."
Environment Canada is calling for a chance of rain/snow overnight with a low of 0, a chance of showers and plus 5 tomorrow, and windy day Sunday with a chance of showers and a high of 5.
