Investigators continue to look for those responsible for two deliberately set grass fires, one in Lake Country and the other on Knox Mountain.
The blaze in Lake Country on July 15th destroyed eight homes while the Knox Mountain fire on Sunday was quickly contained.
Fire and Life Safety Educator Rick Euper of the Kelowna Fire Department was asked why someone would deliberately set a fire, endangering the lives of people.
"They obviously have mental issues that need to be addressed. There are a few theories on it. They like to see the trucks go by. They have caused this big thing that everyone is concerned with and they are thinking, I am proud of that. I've done that".
Euper says the public can help bring the arsonists to justice.
"If anybody sees something suspicious....everyone has phones. Take pictures and pass them along to police. That is the best thing to do. We need help to get these people off the street."
No arrests have been made in either incident.
