The City of West Kelowna will close Boucherie Road Wine Trail Tuesday October 8, from 7 to 10 p.m., between Hayman and Stuart Roads in order to conduct maintenance and winterization work.
The temporary closure will allow crews to safely and efficiently mow, trim, prune, weed and blow out irrigation lines while reducing impacts on motorists as opposed to doing the work during the day, when the route is heavily used.
The City will maintain access for emergency crews and residents who live along the route during the closure.
Motorists, please also be advised that a street sweeper will work in the same area from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, prior to the peak morning commute. Motorists may wish to travel via Highway 97 during this time to avoid delays on Boucherie Road between Stuart and Hayman Roads.
