The fight continues in the Central Okanagan to keep mosquitoes to a minimum.
Over 11 thousand roadside catch basins will be treated next week to prevent them from hatching.
"Catch basins are a real important source for mosquito nonsense and possibly disease factors. When you look around, their is one practically every 50 feet on the streets. Each one is pretty much predator free if you think about it. They are collecting water from irrigation."
Curtis Fediuk's company treats the problem.
Crews will be out stopping at catch basins along roads in Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland and portion of West Kelowna Estates.
