You are invited by the City of West Kelowna to their fun festivities this holiday season starting with Light Up, the Polar Pancake Pajama Party, and Twinkle Tour!
Light Up
On Friday, Dec. 1, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Light Up will take place at Westbank Centre on Brown Road, from Main Street to Gossett Road. This free, family-friendly event will include kids’ activity stations, live entertainment, and various food vendors.

Polar Pancake Pajama Party
We are also hosting the Polar Pancake Pajama Party for families with children aged 12 and under on Sunday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. This fun-filled morning includes a pancake breakfast, cookie decorating, a photo booth, a tattoo station and winter craft stations. The event costs $7 per child and $12 per adult. Pre-register by calling the Recreation and Culture Department at 778-797-8800.
Twinkle Tour
To add to the festivities, the City's fourth annual Twinkle Tour starts Dec. 1. Submit your own or a neighbour’s home or business to be included on the tour at ourwk.ca/twinkletour, where you can also find a self-guided tour map and download a scavenger hunt activity!
The 2023 Twinkle Tour will include a Most Festive Contest with prize winners to be announced in four categories:
The contest entry period will close Dec. 11. Judging will take place Dec. 15 and winners will be announced on Dec. 19.
Public Skating
Check out all of our skating programs this winter at the Mt. Boucherie Recreation Complex. Our holiday public skating schedule will run from Friday, Dec. 22 to Sunday, Jan. 7 and includes Public Skating, Big and Little Skate, and Stick and Puck.
