After a sunny, early fall-like day last Saturday - it's winter again just four days later.
Okanagan residents woke up to snow-covered and slippery streets and sidewalks Wednesday morning in the valley.
On Tuesday, Environment Canada had called for 10 to 15 centiemtres, and the totals appear to be pretty close.
They've lifted the snowfall warning for Kelowna, Vernon and the Okanagan Connector - but have continued the warning for Penticton, Highway 3 and the Coquihalla where another 2 to 4 cms could fall today.
Road crews will be out plowing the main routes and feeder streets today in Kelowna and West Kelowna - and up on the highways as well.
Conditions will improve throughout the day - but tomorrow and Friday look like the better travel days - Thursday's high is expected to reach plus 2 - then sunny and plus 3 for Friday and Saturday.
Overnight Wednesday - we had a report of a vehicle that had slid into Okanagan Lake just south of Peachland near the Dragon Lotus Restaurant - and another crash on Highway 97 south of Gatzke Road in Lake Country.
Emergency crews were dispatched to both crashes - but there's no word on the conditions of anyone in the vehicles.
