UPDATE - Monday, October 15th (12:00 PM)
Kelowna RCMP continue to investigate the incident from Friday night.
So far, they've received several tips from the public regarding the identity of the suspect, and the forensics team is investigating a skateboard left behind at the scene.
RCMP Corporal Jesse O'Donaghey gave an update on the woman's condition following the incident.
"Aside from being shaken up from the incident, she was very fortunate to have sustained only minor injuries," says O'Donaghey. "She seems to be doing okay at this time."

Kelowna RCMP are investigating a random attack on a woman on Friday night.
Police say the woman was walking near Richter and Elliot Streets when a man on a skateboard began following her for several blocks.
He was speaking casually to her along the way, and the woman told police she did not feel threatened - but RCMP Corporal Jess O'Donaghey says that changed quickly, when the suspect started chasing the woman - tackled her and dragged onto a property on Richter.
He says she managed to free herself and run away - and then jumped into a passing driver's car who had stopped to help.
The suspect, who fled on foot, is described as a Caucasian, possibly part Filipino man, in his early 20's - medium build, with shoulder length brown and black hair. He was last seen wearing dark coloured clothing and riding a skateboard, which was located nearby and seized by police.
O'Donaghey says the woman sustained minor injuries.
RCMP are asking the public to review any video surveillance footage they may have along Lawrence Avenue, as well as Richter Street to Cadder Avenue and contact investigators if they locate anything of interest.
