A Kelowna woman is in police custody in connection to an early morning arson.
At around 5:53 AM on Thursday morning, fire crews responded to a report of a garbage fire fire behind Vancouver Career College on Pandosy Street.
They were able to extinguish the fire, although at one point it got so big that it did some damage to the back of the building's wall.
Surveillance footage showed a suspect, who has now been identified as a 26-year-old woman with no fixed address, deliberately starting the fire before leaving the area.
RCMP were able to track down the suspect and take her into police custody. She now faces potential charges in connection to the incident.
