Kelowna RCMP are investigating a sexual assault, that happened Sunday evening, near Kiniski and Creekside Roads.
Police say at around 7:45 pm - a woman standing near the intersection of those two roads heard rustling in the bushes - then a few minutes later - she was grabbed from behind and sexually assaulted.
The male ran off towards Springfield Road when they woman struggled and screamed.
RCMP say the victim did not suffer any injuries needing medical treatment, and reported the incident Monday morning.
The male is described as having light-colored, buzz cut hair, lightly tanned skin, and of medium height and build.
He was wearing a plaid, pastel colored t-shirt and beige khaki coloured shorts.
Investigators have conducted door knocks and extensive patrols in the area to gather information that will assist us in identifying the male suspect involved.
