Vancouver is cracking down on illegally parked RV's and campers. We're talking about the ones with people actually living inside, parked on side streets all over the city.
Jordan has lived in an RV for the past 7 years. He calls it the spring turnover when bylaw starts putting up no parking signs from 10 PM to 6 AM. Jordan and his dog gave up on the traditional lifestyle long ago, "It's becoming out of reach for the working class. I call it the death of the American dream."
The city says the target is illegally parked vehicles and they're enforcing existing laws that apply to everyone, homeless or not.
Kevin and his wife say they have no choice, "Today, you pay 14, 15, 18 even 2000 dollars or more to live anywhere in the lower mainland."
