You will get convenience, insurance coverage and the trailer you need, all while renting from your neighbours, which is a win-win. Here is how it might work for you. Earn extra income by renting out your trailer. Trailer owners can possibly make $300 – $1,000 per month with just a few rental days each month. Find the perfect trailer for your needs without the commitment of ownership, maintenance, or storage costs. Yes, it works just like Airbnb, but for trailers. Visit Trailer4Rent.ca.

CanScribe Career College is again running for the season its Carry Out Kindness Campaign for 2025, a heartfelt initiative designed to spread generosity and compassion through their community. Each participating staff member receives $250 to use in carrying out acts of kindness. Whether it’s paying for someone’s groceries or buying lunch for someone in need, these small gestures create ripples of positivity that extend far beyond the moment. All stories are submitted by a video explaining their act(s) of kindness. The stories will be shared at CanScribe’s AGM. Kindness is contagious. By empowering their staff to give back, they strengthen their communities’ uplift for those who need support and also remind us that even the smallest gestures can make a big difference. Colleen Chapman is the CEO of CanScribe Career College.
Kudos to the students and employees of Aberdeen Hall Preparatory School who presented the Central Okanagan Food Bank with 2,090 lbs. of food (a $7,607.60 value) on their Give Back (Giving Tuesday) Tuesday Campaign. The school encouraged their students and employees to bring a $2 donation in support of the food bank. Giving Tuesday reflects a much larger commitment that guides them throughout the year. Each division follows a thoughtful, annual community support and service plan designed to help students learn through action, build ethical decision-making skills, and strengthen meaningful connections beyond their campus. Wendy Comeau-Greenwood is the Associate Director of Development.

Audrey Ballsrud and Charly-Mae Jacques, both 14 years of age, were chosen to represent Canada in Castellanza, Italy, with Team Canada’s Western Acro dance team. Both ladies dance and train with the competitive dance force at The Kore Dance Project in Kelowna. The gals did an amazing job representing Canada. Audrey and Charly-Mae’s large group placed 2nd, their small group placed 4th, their duet placed 5th, and their solos were 11th and 12th. Kudos to the gals, as none of the costs representing Canada were covered or supported by any organization in B.C. or Canada, and they raised the money to attend on their own.
