A new draft of the plan for future development in the Capri-Landmark neighbourhood is ready for public feedback.
Earlier this year, staff held an online survey and multiple in-person workshops to ask people what they wanted to see throughout the neighbourhood that extends between Gordon and Spall, from Springfield up to Harvey.
The results of those talks are now up for discussion at an open house later this month.
Some of the key proposals in the plan are to make the neighbourhood a more accessible place, for both transportation options and the types of housing.
New and improved sidewalks, better access for bikes and buses, and a diversity of housing options are all listed as top priorities.
Staff also want to see better retail options on Dickson Avenue, in behind the Landmark building, as well as increase the number of green spaces.
Feedback on this neighbourhood plan is being solicited at the meeting on November 16, between 4:30 and 6:30 at the Coast Capri.
