Waterfront access to be discussed in Lake Country today

District meeting with residents about land near Gable Beach
Lake Country's plan to sell surplus waterfront lots, and put the money towards the district's $2.5-million dollar debt to Kelowna is the focus of a meeting Thursday.
The money is owed as part of the deal to buy an abandoned CP rail-line to create the Okanagan Rail Trail.
Carr's Landing residents opposing the plan will be there - they want the three properties north of Gable Beach Park kept for public use.
A petition opposing the sale has about 13-hundred signatures.
